Endless Winter is set in the North America during the early human expansion around 10,000 BC. Players lead their tribes over several generations from a humble hunter-gatherer band to a prosperous tribal society.
Settle new lands, discover and learn to hunt new animals, grow your population, acquire knowledge and erect megalithic structures to endure for millennia.
Endless Winter combines worker placement and deck building into a strategic and interactive euro-style board game experience. A randomly generated map of new Lands ensures that no two games will be similar. Players can pursue a variety of strategies such as cultural domination, technological advancement, area control and hunting prowess just to name a few.
By placing their chiefs, players can move around the map discovering new Lands, develop new tools and cultural concepts secure food supplies or grow and specialise their tribal population. The cards which power these actions can be played for their abilities during the Action round or saved to be revealed in the Settlement phase in order to claim new Lands.
Endless Winter’s system allows players to pursue different play styles and strategies and is flexible enough to allow a mid game switch if the situation calls for that.
