The Illiterati are an evil secret organization that has taken over the world. Your job as a member of the League of Librarians is to save the world’s books—one word at a time.
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW:
Illiterati is a real time cooperative word game where players work together to form words and bind books. The game is played in 3-Minute rounds during which players draw random letters and use them to form words before time runs out. Players may communicate openly, and share letters and words with one another.
At the end of each round, any unused letters (not part of words) may trigger a burn event – burn too many letters and everyone loses. Additionally, a new villain will pay your a team a visit each round and wreak havoc on your board. As the game progresses, the villains will grow stronger in power as they trigger chain-attacks.
To win, each player must complete two books. Afterwards, players must work together and tackle one epic book called… the Final Chapter. The Final Chapter is not only more difficult, but must be completed by everyone at the same time.
